Let's Get Organized for Middle School!
My students need 60 binders and 225 folders to get organized for middle school.
Do you remember your first day of middle school? It is now January and our 5th graders are becoming anxious about 6th grade already! The threat of being unprepared is looming on their minds every day.
The school is located in a lower socioeconomic neighborhood where over 90% of the students receive free or reduced lunch.
Our three 5th grade students are excited learners, ready for any challenge that comes their way! They are already talking about taking honors classes and electives that peak their interest when they go to middle school.
These supplies will give me the opportunity to show my students how simple it can be to get organized for switching from class to class in a new school. It is important to have one less thing to stress about as they prepare for the next step in their education.
Some binders and folders may seem like simple and meaningless materials, but they will impact my students in a way that allows them to feel more successful and ready for their new adventure.
