My Students

My 6th-grade​ students are like sponges, just waiting to soak up all the learning they can! They come to school each day, ready to learn, participate and are helpful to each other. I use stations in my room to reinforce skills students have learned. This gets them up and moving around the room, since we are in a 100 minute block, it keeps them motivated the entire time and excited about the next station and they JUST KEEP LEARNING!

Students rotate through stations where they can reinforce math skills they have learned, this helps them master the skills in different situations.

My Project

I have created stations with dry erase games that reinforce the math skills we are learning or that my students have mastered and are now reinforcing. Now it's time to get organized, so they can have some independence, by choosing the stations they want to work at. This way I can work with small groups and differentiate while they rotate though stations. The hooks are to organize the stations and students can choose which they'd like to work on. The dry erase markers and the cloths will be used at the stations and the ZOOM game is one that they REALLY like and want to play over and over again! (The ABSOLUTE ZERO game looks super fun too!)
