it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember how fun it was to shop for school supplies? Do you remember the first day of school and the new supplies that filled your desk? Many of my students come to school hoping they have the basics they will need to start off the school year.
My students are excited and enthusiastic learners.
We are situated in a low income area of southern California. As with a lot of school across the nation our school has been hit hard by many budget cuts so our resources are limit. My students are determined not to let a lack of resources get in the way.
My Project
My students need composition books, ink and other basic supplies to start the new school year. This year our focus will be to improve our writing skills. With the supplies I have requested we will be able to write, proof and publish our writing assignments with style! Starting with the new journals we will brain storm our creative writing ideas. We will write our first draft and place it in the reusable writing pockets so we can edit our work. The tri-fold pocket folders will keep our writing process neat and tidy. We will be able to use our HP printer and ink to publish our fantastic writing. Finally, we will then display it on the boarding the magnetic pockets for all to see the work we are so proud of.
All students should have the ability to "show off" and shine in all that they do.
