This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Play time is fun time, I want my students to have enough activities to make our play time valuable.
I teach 24 energetic, ready to learn kindergartens.
For most of my students this is their first school experience and I want it to be a memorable one! Kindergarten sets the foundation for the rest of their educational careers and your donation will help me maximize their experiences. Our school is located in South Los Angeles, CA. We are a 100% Title 1 school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.
My Project
My Project: The materials I am requesting will enhance our play time. Aside from our recess and lunch play we get to play in our kinder yard twice a week. With the new materials my students will have more choices in activities. Now another 6 kids will be able to jump rope instead of just 2, they can practice tossing and throwing with the bean bag toss board and with our very own soccer ball, basketball, and football. The inflator will make sure that our balls are always ready to be played with!
This project will motivate my class to get even more active by adding more choices to their play time.
It is important for me to promote physical activity in kindergarten in hopes that it stays with them for life!
