Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love how my students are highly motivated and eager to learn, we are making it our mission to use meaningful movement in our classroom. We love busying our hands and feet to act out the .any concepts we encounter throughout the year: place value challenges, water cycles races, multiplication hopscotch, division demolition, and so much more! We use our whole bodies and classroom as tools to gain a deeper knowledge and wisdom of the concepts we tred through. This will project will aid me to allow each student the ability to form deeper connections in the learning. Not having enough storage for all has been a hardship, making it difficult to continue using movement to solidify our learning. These materials will help us to take our space to the next level and make our daily essentials more readily available to quickly transition from one activity to the next. As well as get us started on our next hands on activity.
