Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello, my students come from a lower income area where they receive most of their meals at school for free. I do the best I can to teach my students about being healthy and taking care of their body. However, with your help I will be able to better engage my students as they will have access to sports equipment which will encourage them to learn more about being healthy and taking care of their body. I think by teaching them how to exercise and finding something fun such as playing with a jump rope, kickball and doing fun exercises these lessons will stick with them throughout their childhood.
