Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my students are amazing and extremely hard workers. If you were to walk into my classroom, you would see students collaborating, helping each other, reading, chilling, and telling jokes. My classroom is their second home. We are a family.
My school is a Title I school, where more than ninety-five percent of the student population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch.
My school is centrally located in the middle of the richest areas in the nation, yet their parents work two or three jobs just to make the rent.
My Project
I am constantly moving around my classroom to work with small groups and individuals. It always varies because we will be online or working with paper materials.
The mobile computer cart will allow me or my students to have a mobile workspace as we move throughout the classroom.
In addition, the Mr. Sketch color markers are the best markers of all time. The fruit fragrance and bold colors inspire kids to do their best on posters or projects. The markers are an extra incentive for my students to do their best work!
