My Project
My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. However, many of them have limited access to engaging, age-appropriate fiction outside of the classroom.
By bringing new fiction books into our classroom library, I hope to inspire a love of reading and help my students see themselves in the stories they read.
These books will support our daily independent reading time, where students choose novels that interest them and read for enjoyment. Whether they gravitate toward contemporary young adult fiction, timeless classics, or thought-provoking diverse voices, I want them to find books that speak to who they are—and who they can become.
Having a rich selection of fiction titles will not only improve their literacy and comprehension skills but also build empathy, critical thinking, and confidence. With your support, my students will gain access to stories that spark imagination, deepen understanding, and make them feel seen and valued.
