This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with an amazing group of first grade students at a Title I school in the Northeast section of the Bronx, NY. My students are eager to learn, have many questions and enjoy exploring their environment. They enter the classroom with excitement, open minds, and caring hearts. Our classroom is a safe, inclusive and engaging community where possibilities are limitless!
To read is to spark a fire that ignites the flame for learning and growth.
Incorporating fun and engaging literacy centers will provide opportunities for my students to gain the reading competencies to become successful readers.
