I work with an amazing group of students who are motivated to learn about and explore the world around them. Their drive to learn about our Earth and investigate the way things work has motivated me as a teacher and made my transition to a new school a truly life-changing event.

I have students who constantly want to revise work, stay for help, and complete extra work to increase their grasp of new concepts. I am so excited to see the projects and work that continues to grow in the minds of my students.
My Project
With the amazing support of DonorsChoose.org we have been able to begin to grow our own amazing school garden! My students are so excited to plant seeds, get into the garden, and see our food grow. We have a great group of gardeners and the support of hundreds of students who have helped us collect milk cartons to plant seedlings in and bring in 2-Liter bottles to transfer larger plants into.
Now it's time to grow our garden!
We are breaking ground on our garden site tomorrow and the students are so excited to move our greenhouse full of plants out to a real garden. We need a hose and garden tools to complete this transfer of our seedlings outside. We also need a sprinkler and tomato cages to help sustain our crop over the summer. These items will help us take our garden to the next step and make us more sustainable into the future.
