This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The kids are excited to enjoy my library, but the titles are ridiculously outdated and I often hear, "There are no good books." In order to make the library the beating heart of the school, I need some decent materials!

I need to keep my pulse on trends and get the hottest graphic novels for my students!

It's all the rage, especially for my reluctant readers! The few titles I have fly off the shelves and there's a waiting list.

Every day, students write a graphic novel title on the wishlist. By giving them these books, I'll be ensuring they return to the library and feed their interest in literature. These books will be used for students to create book talk presentations.
