My Project

My students absolutely love flexible seating time in our classroom. During independent work time, I allow students to choose a location around the room that they feel will best work for them.

Flexible seating helps my students make good choices and fosters independence.

It gives them the opportunity to get out of their seat and move around the classroom.

We currently have a carpet, a floor desk, some pillows, and two beanbag chairs. I would really love to give my students more choices for seating and add in four floor seats.
