Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are the hardest working students in my school district. Never is there a project or activity that they will not do their best on. Every day, they try their best to work toward college readiness.
Dedicated and hardworking are the words that describe my class.
They come to school rain or shine. The majority of students in my school are on reduced-price or free lunch. The neighborhood consists of generational homes, and many students are raised by grandparents. Given all this, they are hardworking scholars.
My Project
One of the best ways to learn is in a comfortable environment. We would love to have flex seating in our class.
With the donation of the flex chairs, the learning activities would be much more enjoyable.
We enjoy games and stations and these chairs would be a hot item!
Expect to see great pictures of my scholars learning and loving it at the same time. Can you imagine having chairs with sensory items for people who need stimulation ? The wobble chairs offer this and would be helpful. We appreciate your generosity. We look forward to our flex chairs soon. During Math the flex chairs would be an asset to station time. Games could be completed in groups on the floor.
During Science time we could use the flex seating in paired reading or individual reading.
