I have found a tool that gets my students motivated and excited about learning! Today children love technology, why not bring it into the classroom to promote learning?
My students are a very diverse group of Kindergarten students.
They have lots of energy and love to use new tools and resources in their learning. One of their favorite things is to use technology! They enjoy watching videos, singing songs, and playing games. Having the chance to use tablets while learning would be a huge asset to our classroom. Our school is also a very diverse school where many different cultures are represented and many different languages are spoken in the classrooms. The use of tablets would greatly benefit those students who are learning English as a second language.
My Project
The tablets in our classroom will be used as an additional learning resource to help students practice their skills. The students will learn grade level and above grade level math skills, and reading skills. On the tablets, students will use the different apps available to learn numbers, reading, math, and English language arts. As a Kindergarten student, these fundamental skills are extremely important to develop academically. Tablets are an exciting and motivating tool that can help students.
Donations to this project would be a great improvement to our classroom.
It will allow my students more opportunities to practice and improve their fundamental skills. It will also allow students to use tools they might not get to use elsewhere.
