My students all come from different backgrounds yet they each bring something very special to the classroom. Our school is located in an area that includes a wide variety of cultures and poverty levels. Our school has a large population of English Language Learners along with students who require specific accommodations during everyday learning.
The staff within our school work very hard to make every child feel loved and experience success.
Our classes are ability grouped in order to help meet the needs of all levels of students. Every student has the capability of learning. Some just need to have the content presented to them in various ways.
My Project
Science is a huge part of any age. When children start exploring young, they develop a curious mind that will allow them to grow into critical and observant thinkers.
When students begin exploring at early ages, their curiosity flourishes!
With these science kits, such as butterfly, ladybug, sea monkeys, and ant habitats, my students will be able to observe living things and watch first hand how life cycles work! With rock, fossil, shark teeth, and gemstone kits, my students will be able to observe nonliving things and discover how they make a difference in our environment as well.
I am so eager for my students to explore the world around them and go on adventures that they will always remember!
