My students need materials to explore our Math, Science, and Social Studies units. From puzzles to manipulatives to assorted games. Everything aligns with all of our units of study for the entire year!
My class of 23 second-grade students loves coming to school each day because they know that the learning environment they will be experiencing will be a fun and loving one!! Our school is a special place not only to work at but also for the kids to attend. All three of my own children attend this school and love it! We serve a large military family base and are very proud of all of our families that attend our school!

Do you know what a successful classroom looks and sounds like? When you walk into a classroom and see the students excitedly exploring and working with hands-on activities while interacting with one another, you know you are in a productive classroom.
I am very passionate about creating an engaging, purposeful, and beneficial learning opportunities for my students!
Likewise, my students love coming to school each day because the learning opportunities they are provided with are educational and FUN! Unfortunately, the Math, Science, and Social Studies supplies we currently have are not sufficient.
Having more manipulatives for our STEM activities, for example, like kits to build solar powered items. These items will provide the students with opportunities to plan, explore, and problem-solve how to create an item that uses a natural resource, the sun!
I am hoping to provide my students with some hands-on learning of fractions manipulatives. These fraction manipulatives, such as the fraction dominos and pizza fraction game will provide the students with an opportunity for the to deepen their understanding of fractions beyond just the written form.
We would also like to add a forecasting device to watch how weather and climate affect us. This device not only displays the temperature inside and out but also the forecasted weather and even the appropriate clothing attire for the day! This device has some great learning features such as calculating the sun/moon rise/set based on our own city along with the phases of the moon! These opportunities align with both our Social Studies and Science objectives.
Puzzles and games would be wonderful to practice our states, landforms, and geography while having fun!
We just need the materials and together we can make a classroom full of learning and excitement!
