My Students
Building connections between old and new knowledge helps enlighten and enhance learning. Classroom discussions help broaden my students' knowledge base about the topics and ideas we're studying. Although my students attend a Title I school, they love working together, discussing new topics, as well as making connections between what they're learning and the real world.
My students range in abilities and languages spoken--they are diverse learners who need a variety of teaching strategies to help them learn.
My students come to school eager to learn from various living situations such as single parents, foster homes, homeless shelters, or extended family living.
Despite their varying home lives, they come to school with a zest for learning.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers has many online resources that can be linked to our Google Classroom accounts. There are a variety of formats, such as Google Forms, Google Docs, and Google Slides, that are compatible and can be used in the classroom.
I'm looking particularly at resources that help streamline the workload for students and their parents.
The resources are eye-catching, engaging, and cover multiple content areas. These gift cards can be used for educational games such as escape rooms and virtual fields trips. In addition, reading passages that add to these experiences can also be found!
There are so many creative ways to present assignments digitally using Teachers Pay Teachers, while still covering state standards and curriculum!
