My Students

My students are first graders who have never been to school before. We started on August 17th, which was their first experience with a school. They were very eager and excited to see a real teacher outside of their computer screen.

My students are very hands-on, creative, energetic individuals who love to hear stories, sing songs and learn new things.

Their abilities range from emerging Kindergarten to the middle of first grade. Many of the class are still learning last year's standards but will still need to learn first-grade standards by the end of the year.

With a little over 85 days that I have had with them, I have found them to be very inquisitive and seek out new information whenever they can. Many have been eager to learn all of the new things that have been presented to them this year, and I am as excited as they are to help them learn as much as they can.

My Project

These art supplies will be placed in our Let's Create Center where students can go and be creative. The variety of supplies will let them have many objects to chose from. Encouraging my students to be creative with these supplies helps with their over all love for school.

The incentive pencils and other items will be used to give to students at the end of the week for classroom jobs they have preformed throughout the week.

As a class, we work together to help keep our classroom clean, organized and beautiful.

The TPT gift card will allow me to find lessons that will engage my students. It will let me find lessons that go along with topics that we are studying in class as well as topics of interest to the students.
