We immediately began using the printing paper to create visual supports, and class activities that meet each student's needs. The construction paper became a highlight during our \"All About Me\" unit. Students were so excited to see the colorful materials and couldn't wait to start creating. One special moment was watching them proudly work on their self-portraits using paper plates and construction paper and carefully choosing colors that matched their hair, eyes, and favorite outfits.\r\n\r\nWith your support, students also took home materials to complete pages for our \"All About Me\" classroom book with their families. When the pages returned, students beamed with pride as we shared them during circle time and added them to our class library. The cleaning supplies have helped us maintain a safe and organized environment, allowing students to focus on learning and creativity.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue building early literacy and social-emotional skills by reading our class book together, identifying similarities and differences, and strengthening our sense of classroom community. My students have been using the purple Elmer's glue and Play-Doh daily during our art and sensory activities. These materials have helped them strengthen their fine motor skills while also exploring textures, colors, and shapes in fun and meaningful ways.\r\nOne special moment was during our recent farm-themed project. The students used the purple glue to decorate their the classroom bulletin board and couldn't stop giggling at how fun and colorful it looked! During sensory play, they rolled, squished, and molded the Play-Doh into different shapes—working on turn-taking and sharing while using their imaginations to create their own \"mini pumpkins.\"\r\nOur next steps include using these resources for upcoming projects that focus on the five senses and color recognition. Having a space for students to go and be creative is very important especially for our younger learners. Students are able to use the materials to create vibrant pictures and have different mediums to use. IThe area is beautiful and the colors used are vibrant. It is a clean way to display the childrens amazing art. The students really enjoyed being able to use the play dough and create different types of 3d art as well as getting use of fine motor skills. Students were also able to create using cookie cutters.
