Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is such a special place to be and to learn. Our students are loving, fun, creative, and love school. Our school is Title I and we are low socioeconomic, so many of our students rely on us to supply them with the necessary school supplies.
Art has always been an important part of my schooling - my mom was my Art Docent, and she continues that by volunteering at my school till this day.
We'd love to have some art supplies ready for our students so they can be able to create their own masterpieces.
We need the pencil boxes to store all our wonderful supplies, Sharpies to outline our projects to make them pop, and markers to make them look colorful. Some students prefer to have their art supplies in a baggie so we are also asking for gallon bags! This will create a nice, neat, and organized space for them to get creative.
