My Students

My students have a wide range of strengths and capabilities. Our year is filled with functional academics, independent living skills, vocational tasks, arts and crafts, cooking, dancing, mindfulness, socializing, and much, much more.

These 9 spectacular students are kind, funny, and very upbeat.

They love socializing with each other and ensuring that no one gets left behind. Their positive energy always brightens my day. This will be a great year and I am very excited to start off strong!

My Project

Let's get crafty in SPED is a project that will give my students all the arts and crafts supplies they will need this year.

Arts and Crafts lessons provide a fun, expressive way to address a variety of skills - fine motor, communication, listening, imitation, critical thinking, and following directions, to name a few.

This project will fund the materials for all the ideas I have for 2021. Here are some of those ideas: Secret Valentine Gifts, Thank You Cards to our SPED Team members, Culture Month Crafts, Friendship Bracelets, and Springtime Decorations.
