My Students

In our class we have students ranging from 3 years old to 6 years old. Most of our students are on free and reduced lunch. Many of our students move in and out of our school district throughout the school year.

Young children learn best by doing and experiencing the world around them in real and authentic ways.

My students learn best when they can use theirs senses to explore the topic we are studying. They love animals and love to learn about the world around them.

My Project

Little children love animals and love, even more, to learn about them. We explore many life cycles throughout the school year. In the spring, we love to learn about the chicken life cycle by reading books and looking at pictures. To help make this an even better experience for my students, we would love to actually see chickens hatch from eggs!

By receiving these materials, my students can experience the chicken life cycle first hand.

Being able to show the students the stages of a chicken's life and read books about it, will make the learning more memorable. Who could forget hatching chickens in your very own classroom!
