it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach fourth grade and have a room full of eager learners. We love to curl up on the rug I’m out reading corner and read a book with a cozy stuffed animal, however, this is difficult because our rug is shabby and falling apart. My students come from poor families and often a cozy place to read isn’t a possibility because of their overcrowded houses. Their social anxiety can often be very high and our classroom serves as a sanctuary for the students to feel safe. I am asking for a rug for my students
