Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love moving and learning outdoors, but our learning space is lacking! Your donation will give us an outdoor play kitchen, complete with pots and pans. Students will spend hours role-playing and engaging in rich play! They will use the play dough to make pretend food in their new kitchen. They will build their vocabularies and collaboration skills while they play family and restaurant.

Young students learn best through play, and this project will provide endless options for free play!

The kinetic sand will keep our sensory bins full all year. Students will love digging and creating while building their hand strength and fine motor skills. The letter tracing books and letter magnets will help them play teacher and build their foundational literacy skills. We will learn how to form letters and how to build short words.

The carpet will give students a place to sit during outdoor circle time and to listen to stories. Help give my students the joyful play and learning that they deserve!
