Come hang out in our kitchen! Where cooks are always exploring and growing. Having the time to learn how to cook is a wonderful experience. We are 7 graders and 8th graders who love to explore cookbooks and decide on our recipes.
We would love to improve our kitchen with new items.
We would like more gadgets so we can do more. Maybe some pots and pans to. There are so many things we would love to make but there are not enough things to use in our kitchen so making it cooler and better would totally rock for us. Thank you for your help! We think you rock.
Cooking involves math, science, language arts, and even important life skills such as problem solving, teamwork and learning real life skills. The items in this project would be added to our life skills kitchen and help is grow. We have learned that cooking is not just about making food. Its about following steps changing numbers and working as a team. Having these new gadgets would help us grow as we learn.
In Their Own Words
We would like to be able to have more gadgets in our kitchen so we can get cooking all different things. We learn different skills with cooking. We get to decide on a menu each week and sometimes we do not have the gadgets that are needed to get cooking.
We would make the most of having new kitchen gadgets and supplies, by expanding our cooking lessons to be challenging and difficult. We work hard when we decide our menus and sometimes we do not have the supplies we need to complete our idea. This would allow us to take the opportunity to try more and grow as cookers,
This project is important to us because using the life skills kitchen allows us to learn more life skills and grow. Learning how to cook ourselves a meal and take care of ourselves as we grow is very important. We are gaining life skills that we can use as a adult.
