This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This rug will create a comfortable and welcoming space where students can gather each day for read-alouds, morning meetings, and center time. It will give them a place to sit, work, and collaborate—whether they’re sharing ideas with a partner or focusing independently. Having a dedicated rug area will help foster a sense of community and support active, engaged learning throughout our day.
In addition to the rug, the other requested items like Expo markers, Post-its, and various school supplies will provide students with the tools they need to stay organized and fully participate in their learning.
These materials will be used daily for writing, brainstorming, and completing their work, helping to create an enriching and productive classroom environment.
