My Project
Second graders learn best when they are comfortable and relaxed. We are trying to renovate our old classroom and provide modern, flexible seating around and in our library. An adjustable desk on wheels would enable students, who prefer to stand, to get comfy while completing their work in our classroom. Students already have a cozy rug to sit on but would like to be able to stand when tired of sitting anywhere in the school. Our baskets for our leveled readers need a shelf to be organized on. A bookcase and standing desk would tremendously help to manage our classroom library and get comfy in various centers around our classroom.
