My students need 2 bookshelves to hold all our new books that we have received through donations. We are extremely excited that we have expanded our library, but we also need somewhere to sit and read!
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are growing and learning in a small, tight knit, school community. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The two bookshelves will placed against the back wall to make our library larger and more accessible for students. We will be able to organize our books by genre and reading level. The bean bag chairs will be placed in the corner to be used as a quiet reading nook. The students will also be able to go and get a bean bag chair to sit in another quiet spot in the classroom to read or do independent work. The donations for this project will help my students be more inspired to read. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks so much!
