Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the "Let's Get Comfortable" project, students will learn to feel at ease in a small group setting. While traditional chairs and tables are suitable in some settings, young learners need to balance, tap, bounce, and move freely as they learn. Physical comfort allows students to concentrate on their primary focus: learning.
This project aims to furnish my "Math Lab" with alternative seating options.
The "kidney shape" table will encourage students to engage in meaningful peer conversations, the "bouncing balls" will fulfill their need for movement, and the ergonomic office chair will allow me to maintain a comfortable position while working with small groups.
Everyone enjoys comfort, and this flexible seating initiative will enable my students to feel at ease as they work on equations, engage in significant discussions, and foster a community of adaptable thinkers and problem solvers.
