My students need a charging station to safely charge and store our ten Chromebooks.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We call our classroom the Robot Studio. My students are all emerging bilinguals with an insatiable appetite for learning and creative projects. We are engineers, mathematicians, researchers, readers, writers, and creative artists who LOVE hands-on learning and snuggling up with a good book.
Too many of my students do not have access to the Internet or devices to connect to the Internet.
Our goal in the 2016-2017 school year is to integraye technology across the curriculum so students can build 21st century skills.
My Project
We have a bit of an electrical wire octopus pile in the corner of our room. While generous donors across the country made it possible for our class to have ten Chromebooks, we need a safe place to store and charge those Chromebooks.
A Belkin charging and storage station will keep our much-valued Chromebooks organized and charging so they are easily accessible and ready to go when it is time to use them in class.
The charging station will also help our student 'technology supervisors' learn best practices for caring for devices so that they have the longest possible shelf life in our classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
