My Project
My school is a part of a specialty school district within the New York City Board of Education; District 75. We work with students with the most severe disabilities. The students in my school range from having Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Multiple Sclerosis, Angelman Syndrome and various other disabilities.
The use of these 3 vibrating Bumpass' would be an essential part of the brand new sensory room in my school.
Using this space, my students will have a safe place to calm and regulate their behavior. The Bumpas will allow my students an opportunity to deescalate and receive the sensory input they may be in need of.
By donating to our project, you will be helping my students increase their focus and attention during classroom activities. This will ultimately help my students be successful throughout their days.
Students will be able to request a necessary break in the sensory room or earn based on their individual token economy system. Having the 3 vibrating Bumpass' will inevitably assist my students to be successful in their day.
