Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are such hands-on learners. They love being creative and showing their uniqueness in different arts and crafts. We use a ton of materials daily to help the students learn specific reading and math skills and therefore require a lot of resources to be available for the students to use. We want to be able to provide our students with the best learning experience we can. In order to do this, we believe that we need a variety of art supplies.
Our students will greatly benefit from the materials that we are requesting through Donors Choose.
We will make sure that students can use them to further their education by learning letters, sounds, numbers, and more through the use of paint of creating crafts of the letters, for example.
