Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Curriculums are becoming more computer based everyday and because of that my students have to spend time on their chromebooks each day. With twenty five students in the classroom, listening to all those computers at the same time can become very overwhelming and distracting for students. Most of the headphones we have, no longer work and have found their place in the trash and the ones students have brought in are not compatible with our Chromebooks.
By having a new class set of headphones, students can concentrate on the task as hand in a quiet, distraction free classroom setting.
This allows students to work on the curriculum assignments that are assigned weekly in small groups while other students get to work with myself. By not having the distraction of listening to others computers or having to have students keep their volume as low as possible students will be receiving instruction with no outside distraction.
