Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Walking Club is a club I am starting to motivate students to exercise more and get in more physical activity. During this club students will put down their phones and get outside to walk and learn more about being healthy.
Since it is still very cold out we will need gloves to keep us warm and then snacks to motivate us and keep us hydrated as we walk.
Students will learn that walking is one of the healthiest, safest, and easiest ways to begin a fitness program, and can be an aid to helping students improve their health.
It is my goal to incorporate movement in their lives to reduce stress, develop peer relationships, and build character values.
