My Project

I teach at a low-income school district where many of my students have had to overcome many obstacles. Aside from the challenges they have faced, my students still come to school eager to learn. My students have definitely been enjoying their snack time! Unfortunately, the items from our first funding are slowly coming an end and my kiddos would definitely enjoy receiving more. I am requesting a variety of snacks to help fuel my sweet first graders brain. During a normal school day, the only time my students eat are during breakfast and lunch. Towards the end of the day, my students are tired, hungry, and ready to go home. Therefore, having the selected items will give my students the opportunity to receive a snack break. This will also give them the energy to finish their day strong.
