Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the past two school years, my students selected preferred reading titles for our classroom library. Thanks to your generosity we have many great titles available, but now we have a little storage problem.
I would like to continue organizing our class library by genre and plastic shoebox sized storage bins would help with this.
The book easels would provide not only storage, but an easier way for students to notice titles that were hidden within the bookshelf.
Finally, some of my students prefer to stay in their seats when they read, but will often tilt back and fall. The Bouncy Bands would help them get some wiggles out while remaining focused on the text and staying safe.
My students and I are always amazed when our projects get fully funded. It's always a great teachable moment to show them how kindness goes a long way. Thank you for considering us!
