My students are always on the go! My students LOVE to learn new math and reading/writing skills. By the end of Kindergarten, I want my students to have the skills to be successful and have a strong foundation in math and literacy.
I have a very energetic group of Kindergarten students.
They are always on the go and struggle to sit for long periods of time. My students love the learning process and are eager to learn more. My students enjoy recess because they are able to release some of their energy on the playground.
My Project
I want my students to love the learning process. I want them to feel like the sky is the limit with learning new concepts in math and literacy. My students will be using these stability balls and crates as "chairs". I will be inflating the ball enough to fit in the crate. My students will be able to get out their wiggles and increase their focus while sitting on the ball chairs. Studies have shown that students using ball chairs were able to sit still, focus and write more words clearly. Ball chairs will channel my students energy in a positive way, allowing them to focus on their work more completely and reach their full potential as learner.
This project will improve my classroom because I am eager to help my students be successful.
I want my students to be able to keep their attention on a specific math and literacy task so they can absorb as much information as possible.
