My Project

Flexible seating options are a great way for students to control how they complete their work in a space that works best for them. During independent and partner work, students are often given the choice to sit around the room (using clipboards, white boards, carpet squares, etc.). Giving students this choice has improved not only the quality of their work, but the atmosphere of the room as well.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment for the students in my room.

The surf desks will provide an additional option for students when they are choosing flexible seating. These desks are a great way to let students move around the room and collaborate with others. The surf desk rack will be where our desks are housed when we are not using them.

Our current flexible seating options have already proven beneficial to our work environment and I am excited to have more options for my kiddos.
