My Students

My students are hard working, kind, and overall the best of the best. What I love most is that all of them have unique strengths that make them who they are. Every child in my class has their own story, with their own background.

My class is filled with diverse learners and come from a variety of multicultural backgrounds.

This makes our classroom community so fun to be around. Every student makes up who we are as a team. Students are allowed to be themselves in our room. They are comfortable not only with me, but each other. They are supportive, kind, and strive to be the best they can be.

My Project

Flexible seating will help to benefit my most fidgety students! Right now, our class only has one flex ball that 20 students have to share. Research has shown that students that utilize flexible seating in the classroom have better test scores, are more attentive, and obtain more information than sitting still for a majority of the day.

Flexible seating will help to foster engagement for all types of learners!

Not every student learns or retains information the same as another. Flexible seating allows students to make choices, allows movement or breaks, provides comfort, and stimulate senses. All of these factors combine will help students become better engaged in their learning environment!
