Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's classrooms, it can get hectic quickly without many opportunities to get up and move around. Due to this students can feel too restrained with having to sit for most of the day. This can quickly cause a calm classroom environment to become a space that halts learning. I am requesting these items so that I can prevent this by having the needed tools to allow students more opportunities to move. When a student is provided opportunities to move they are able to stay on task and I can maximize their academic time because it won't be lost due to behaviors.

I want to ensure my students students have more opportunities to move during lesson times, because they say movement is like miracle grow for the brain.

I am requesting the chair bands so that students may be able to move their legs in an appropriate manner that won't be disruptive. The hexagon foam tiles and lap desks will help because if students need to move from their desks for any reason they can have the freedom to do so. This way I won't need to stop helping a student in order to move students around if they need to move or need a break from another student. I hope to get these items once again, to maximize learning time in order to bolster my students' academics. My students and I thank you if you can help in anyway.
