This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have various needs within the classroom setting, I would like to give them opportunities to select alternative seating that meets their academic and social-emotional needs for the day. My students have various needs, having their personal space with the chairs and the lap desks enriches their learning and minimizes loss of instruction. My goal is to obtain a classroom that provides students with the tools that meet not only their academic needs but also foster an environment where students can learn in a safe, comfortable environment and allow them to take academic risks to enrich their learning.
