My Project
My students are resilient and have been working very hard this year. They have endured water crisis, wintery storms, and other disasters that have caused supplies to be destroyed or depleted. To keep the momentum going, they are in need of basic supplies to finish the school year. We need supplies. My students need anchor chart paper, pencils, folders, highlighters, and markers to use as we begin reviewing for state testing and finishing the remainder of the term. Snacks will be used as incentive on Fridays for good behavior and participation during the week.
To be successful, my scholars need these supplies to use at school.
My students need pencils to use daily in math class. The folders will be used to place their notes and review material. The chart paper will be used as review posters for students to create their own topic summaries to help their classmates. Highlighters will be used for annotating notes.
Many of my students have been displaced due to the recent weather disasters and many of their parents cannot afford to purchase supplies. Having my supplies project full funded will help my students be supported with those basic supplies needed for their academics as they finish strong.
