My Project

My students love to read and learn about science and social studies topics together. These subjects don't need to be isolated from each other but combined in themes so that students are using all skills together for the same purpose.

Students can dive deeper into topics when they are taught throughout the day building on the same vocabulary and genre.

My students are all English Learners and for them especially we need to not overload the vocabulary terms but give them opportunities to use what they are learning throughout the day throughout the different subjects they are learning in school. These magazines give them those opportunities. I know these magazines would make a huge difference for my students in their language acquisition.
