We have a diverse group of Pre-K students who are ready and excited for school! With your support, they can grow, learn, and spread their excitement for education into their future academic career. Pre-K is a special place for children to learn how to get along with others while building self-confidence and self-esteem. They learn how to socialize with others, manage disagreements, and build key communication skills needed in the future.
We are curious and active learners who love to make new discoveries by exploring our surroundings.
It's hard for a four-year-old to sit and listen to a lecture. That's why we learn through play!
Our classroom materials are essential to our learning process, offering us tools that support role-playing, creating, building, social-emotional skills, reading and writing skills, language skills, and math skills. Through play, the students make observations and discuss what they notice. Through our discussions, they draw conclusions that help them to make sense of the world and learn each day.
My Project
My students need Scholastic Let's Find Out Magazines to learn more about the world around us. My students are eager to learn new things and love non-fiction texts.
The Let's Find Out subscription will give my students an opportunity to read about current events and science topics throughout the year.
They will be reading non-fiction texts on a regular basis and seeing photographs that will encourage curiosity and conversation. They will LOVE when the new readers arrive and seeing the topics that they will be learning about. Scholastic Let's Find Out readers make learning fun as well as encouraging reading growth. Students will be able to take their magazines homes to share with their families and spread their joy for reading and learning!
