This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year my students have a subscription of Let's Find Out Scholastic News and they enjoy using it. They get excited every week to find out what the next topic will be. Each student gets their own colorful magazine leaflet. The magazines are very informational and cover a variety of topics such as holidays, science, social studies and events. I am requesting a new subscription for my incoming class next school year. The subscriptions will provide my students with grade appropriate articles that we will use weekly to have open discussions. This project will also help increase my students’ reading comprehension and analytical skills. Your support is greatly appreciated!
