My Project
Hey there, fabulous donors! Today, I want to share a peek into the vibrant world of my special education classroom for grades K-1, where my amazing non-verbal students shine brighter than a disco ball at a dance party! These little learners are full of potential, but they need a little extra help to express themselves. That's where our DonorsChoose project comes in! We're on a mission to secure AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices, communication flash cards, and clear bins for storage. With these tools, we can unlock a treasure trove of communication opportunities for our students, allowing them to share their thoughts, feelings, and creativity with the world!

The AAC devices will empower our students to engage in conversations, participate in class activities, and connect with their peers in ways they've never been able to before. Communication flash cards will serve as a bridge, making it easier for them to express their needs and ideas. And let’s not forget about those clear bins! They’ll help keep our classroom organized, ensuring that every tool is easily accessible and ready for action. Our goal is to foster an inclusive environment where every child feels heard and valued, paving the way for their academic and social growth.
