Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom full of energetic and creative fifth graders who are eager to learn and enjoy using different types of materials for their learning. We are part of a large metropolitan school district. My class is ethnically diverse.
Our school has a large population of students who have various disabilities.
My students would benefit from having the whiteboards and markers during distance learning.
My Project
My students need these white boards and markers to share their answers, thoughts, and ideas. By having these items students will not always have to put everything down on the computer screen. Students will be able to draw pictures to show their thinking and use thinking maps to plan their stories. Let's face it computers are great, but there is nothing like seeing your ideas come to life right before your eyes. These items are a staple of any classroom and would be extremely helpful for my students academic success.
