Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our class we base our science off of what we see in our world. We want our students make the connection between what they learn in class to what they see while fishing, taking a walk outside, or just playing on the playground.

By making these connections, our students will have STEM materials for more of those "Aha" moments inside and outside of the classroom.

We also want to get our kids more engaged in science and keep their interest while we have it, so their curious minds never stop wondering and asking what's next.

We would also like a couch added to our library to encourage more students to take a break from running around all day, and explore the world of books! Aside from this we would like to expand our robot collection, as our love building and rebuilding robots. I also hope the emotion sorting box will encourage our kids to explore the different faces of emotions, and start to ask those questions of what's wrong and why?
