My Project

Kindergarten classes at our school are very diverse. We have many English Language Learner (ELL) students that are learning English in our classrooms.We have students that are eager to be at school to learn and grow! Majority of my students come from a lower socioeconomic background. School is a place where they can escape, learn, laugh and socialize with classmates their same age.

My energetic kindergarteners enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore!

Kindergarten is such an amazing and wonderful year for children. They learn and grow so much in such a short amount of time. Kindergarten students are like little sponges ready to learn and absorb all this new knowledge.

As a kindergarten teacher, I teach math and science every day. But I don't always have the tools to let my students explore and learn in a hands-on way. With these centers, manipulatives, and hands on learning materials I will be able to let students have a fun way to explore science and math. Students will be able to demonstrate understanding and provide real life experiences in math and science! Visuals are so important for all kinds of learners, especially Kindergarten students. I will also be able to use these to create math and science-based centers for kids to learn and play daily.
