My students need math manipulatives to gain hands-on exposure to core math concepts. Flexible seating will allow for those who struggle to focus somewhere they can work and wiggle at the same time.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Learning through play in Kindergarten is a crucial part of development. My students are very diverse and come from varied backgrounds. School is their place to explore and be creative.
I help my students to understand the concept of YET.
They may not know something yet, but they will! We learn about PERSEVERANCE. If they keep trying they can be the odds and achieve their goals and dreams. They may be only 5 and 6 but they have big dreams. My hope is to help build self confidence and to help them get the educational foundation they need.
My Project
These tools will help my little one to develop a deeper understanding of math. The adding and subtracting machines will give great practice to build math fluency. Wobble chairs will give a spot for student who struggle sitting still. The combination of the two will allow for students to concentrate and really focus on gaining those important math skills.
Math manipulatives give young learners more exposure and opportunities to learn.
Any opportunity I have to build an excitement for learning will benefit my students not just now, but in the future as well. I hope to instill of love of learning from the very beginning.
